About

Jib Snowboarding is an evoloutionary concept in coaching and teaching people to snowboard from all levels and backgrounds. A concept that began in 2005.

The founder, Kieran MacDonald Sharp has brought together methods of coaching that open the sport to anyone. Going beyond playing to learn the basics, Jib snowboarding offers a mode that enables all riders to play with the board and the mountain itself; a term known to many as jibbing.

No longer an idea reserved for a pro rider but something that is accessible for beginners, children, excited and nervous riders. Utilising many tools and techniques that assist in opening this potential for everyone, from bio metric feedback devices paired with applications to video anaylsis and much more.

Our goal is to open the sport to whoever dreams of snowboarding mountains.

We work with a select group of like minded snowboard coaches and teachers with access to the tools and techniques that make jib snowboarding jib.

Since 2004 we have developed close relationships with many services in the Chamonix Valley from transport and accomidation to fine dining and concierge. we can provide information that make your stay in this beautiful place one to remember.

The founder Kieran MacDonald Sharp has studied snowboarding since his first season in Chamonix in 2004. After falling in love with the sport touching fresh powder lines for the first time, it became his passion career and life. Qualifying through the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) he qualified to the highest level necessary for teaching and coaching in France (level 4). Working intially with other coaches like Neil McNab, Keith McIntosh and most of the schools in Chamonix he gained a diverse perspective to offer what is now presented through Jib Snowboarding.

Kieran has a keen passion for the sport and enjoys sharing it with people of all levels. It is a pleasure to speak with you about your interest in this sport and your time in the valley, please dont hesitate to reach out.
